This dazzlingly beautiful 1950s Peter Marsh dalle de verre coloured glass lantern would have hung in a porch or entranceway. A unique luminaire from the post war period - these fascinating lamps date from between 1949 and 1965. Hand-made from coloured slab glass set into a leaded matrix in a house-style lantern with four illuminated dormer window features. The hammered-metal roof also contains four small heat-vents near the top. Often copied but never equaled - Peter Marsh originals are becoming highly collectable and this lamp bears his cursive initials impressed into the roof. Some slight separation between some of the glass and mount, this amazing lantern remains a true British design icon.

IMPORTANT - All lighting must be tested and installed by a suitably qualified electrician prior to use.
