A fine example of an architectural and homestyle classic - this antique cast iron boot scraper set in stone is a delight. Comprising two gently chamfered posts with a shaped blade between them. Traditionally set into a substantial stone base using hot poured lead. The ensemble would normally be buried in the ground or built into a low wall, step or porch surround to anchor the scraper during use.
