Rare Set of Four Beautiful Antique Floral Shape Cast Iron Urns

Like the fronds of some great plant of the forest - this rare set of four beautiful antique floral shape cast iron urns have delicate wavy rims and internal ribs. These botanical beauties have the most slender castings that both enhances their graceful look and reflects the skill of the ironworks where they were cast. Such refinement makes them deceptively light for cast iron whilst retaining all of the character of this historic process. A truly wonderful pair of planters that will add instant charm and elegance to any garden. There are two round flats on each rim, the purpose of which is not apparent and there have been a number of cracks to the fine castings over time which have been filled and stabilised resulting in small areas of smoothness (see last photo).
