Fabulous Collection of 31 Vintage Nautical or Marine Pulleys on Display Boards

A Fabulous collection of 31 vintage nautical or marine pulleys on display boards - most of which have a stylised 'AR' emblem or cartouche. Made from high grade timber, copper, brass and galvanised steel - these working pieces would make a great display in a study, maritime display or a suitably themed pub or shop. There are a total of 31 single, double and triple pulleys set across three framed and painted display boards. This may have been a promotional item for a manufacturer of these handsome artifacts - or the result of a dedicated enthusiast or collector.

The pulleys (sometimes called sheaves) are mounted using a coated wire which passes through the face of the board and is twisted-off to the rear. Each of the boards is painted in a matt oatmeal colour paint and framed with a light coloured wood to which four mirror plates are attached for mounting on the wall.
