Complete Well Head with Tiled Roof Winder Bucket and Chain

A complete well head with tiled roof, winder, bucket and chain. Likely constructed in the late 20th century - this attractive and sizable well head incorporates some much older features. The substantial timber frame is a quality construction (see photos) finished with felt, battens and a decorative double hip tiled roof. The large serpent spoked cast iron well wheel and heavy timber spindle are from a much earlier well or repurposed agricultural or machinery parts as was sometimes the case. There is a good length of chain and a coopered bucket too. It’s rare to find a totally complete character well head such as this - and so beautifully made too! Would make a wonderful garden water feature or even a focal point in a retail environment.
