Made in house by our own resident carpenter, this impressive hand built bed made from old oak gates is unique and destined to be the cherished focal point in the master bedroom of a grand barn conversion, period cottage restoration or retro city apartment. Made entirely from the character timbers of old english farm gates and with the slats and headboard panel crafted from pre-war industrial warehouse cladding…this wonderful bed is made of history.
The original hinge bolts have been employed as frame tighteners and the subtle curve of the top rail occurred naturally over half a century or more weathered by the wind and rain. This is a unique king size bed and a unique opportunity to own an ‘historic’ piece of hand made British furniture.

Please note the bed can be dismantled.
