A lovely large reclaimed buff or cream terracotta chimney pot. This majestic pot has a tall octagonal body with a beaded collar top and bottom. The flared collar narrows again to a double ribbed top and rim. The base has a substantial skirt for securing such a grand pot. There is a chip to the rim and what appears to be a long vertical flaw to one side that may have occurred during the firing process or early in the life of the pot. This pot might be re-usable but would definitely serve as a decorative garden planter or stick/umbrella stand.
