Old Cast Iron St George's Road Sign

A very patriotic plate! This lovely old cast iron St Georges Road or street sign is slightly crusty and is very heavy for its size. It appears to have all its original paint which is aged-white in each of the recessed letters with a (now dull) black background. This is a substantial plaque that has withstood the ravages of the weather throughout its long and proud life. It has four fixing holes and will require careful mounting.
