An imaginative and beautifully made piece that combines elements of agricultural, nautical and industrial heritage in a single sculpture. This new retro iron pulley and hemp rope light or table lamp sits firmly on a slab of hewn timber. A slender faded green barley-twist iron riser holds an impressive cast iron twin pulley that is tethered to a steel base plate by a heavy spliced hemp rope.

A wax finish to all parts gives it a soft sheen and small metal loops to the rear of the riser guide the new cabling to a standard bayonet light fitting at the top.
