A distinctive design with impressive iron hinges and latchwork make this old blue external diamond-glazed plank and ledge pine door a great choice.
Comprising four heavy pine planks with substantial ledges (rear braces) the front features three raised strengthening fillets. This raised and ribbed feature extends around the diamond window aperture and keeps the hinge straps captive. There is a sizeable kick-strip / weatherboard to the bottom edge.
This was an inward opening door with a decorative thumb-latch, letterplate with integral swing-knocker plus a rim/box lock and a 'Yale' style night latch. Regrettably there are no keys.
Thickness of the door is 3cm, the ledges (rear braces) are 3cm thick and the ribbing to the face is 1.5m thick.Want to know more? - use the Sales Enquiry tab
