Old Freestanding Pine Hymn Book Shelves

Simply built and with a mellow patina that can only be achieved by years of service. This old freestanding pine hymn book shelves is likely from a chapel or private study where  books or papers would safely sit until needed once again. Made from ten pine boards, there are three shelves and a top board. The sidea have rounded tops, the feet are neatly chamfered and the back consists of three planks with simple bracing. There is slight damage to one side at the bottom edge where the fixing for the foot has pulled out of the wood.  A sweet little bookshelf that will fit almost anywhere.
