Calling all vintage phone lovers! This is a true gem... an original unused vintage GPO black bakelite or plastic finger-dial telephone complete with its orignal box and four-pin plug.
This came to us from the estate of an ex-telephone engineer and as far we can tell has never been used.
The box is marked 'Telephone and Electric Co. Strowger Works Liverpool 7 England'.
The dial carries the warning - 'speech on this telephone is not secure' indicating it may have been once destined for use in offices handling sensitive information?
