A traditional twelve spoke iron rim wheel perhaps from a showmans trailer or a romany gypsy caravan. This ornate hand painted cart or wagon wheel has red and blue detailing over a cream base. Intact though not tested for load-bearing - it would make a wonderful chandelier or hanging ceiling light for a barn conversion or restaurant. The lovely patina and weathered paint finish make this an evocative piece of agricultural and social history, full of vintage charm that has stood the test of time.
