Pair of Unusual Ornate Hand Carved Bow Top Oak Chairs

Such elegant chair backs...carved, curved and quality!

It's possible that the back of these fine chairs were matched to complementary bases when their own became damaged beyond repair. Whatever the reason, it's a blessing that someone had the foresight to save these wonderful hand carved pieces and present them as two fine hall chairs.

Made from oak throughout with turned front legs and square tapered rear legs. The seats are flat and of a good height.
