Pair of Vintage Composite Stone Lion Garden Statues with Plinths

A pair of wonderful aged and weathered composite stone lion statues with beautifully detailed manes and faces, each crouching with a ball between its paws and set on a long decorative plinth.

The flat heads and rumps suggest these may once have been the supporting part of a larger feature, maybe a garden seat, trough or similar.

The lions are separate from their plinths and mirrored, that is each faces slightly outward in a contra-direction and their tails are on opposite sides etc.

Use these to create a dramatic seat or planter in your garden, courtyard or atrium or perhaps install them as a fine pair of gate finials on high brick or stone plinths where their slightly flattened tops are not visible?
