Pair of Vintage Pineapple Gate Pillar Finials

A pair of vintage pineapple gate pillar finials are a classic statement of refinement and grandeur. A design originally from the Victorian era, through the years it has remained a popular choice for architectural decoration. The stylised form consists of a ring of leaves from which the pyramidal cubed fruit rises. Set on a soft skirted foot and square base. One of the bases has lost a corner but this could be recreated if the finials are set in mortar once more. Alternatively these would make a great garden or conservatory feature.
