Pair of Vintage Spelter Wagner Opera Figures

A classic pair of spelter figures, depicting protagonists of two of Richard Wagner’s acclaimed opera pieces; Lohengrin and Siegfried. Highly detailed pieces with swan and winged helmets, swords and shields and chain mail. Facing opposite directions, this pair would make a striking addition to a formal mantelpiece, bookcase or study or formal room. There is a tear to the arm of one figure (see photos).
