Reclaimed Elm Long Side Unit with Twin Doors

One of a selection of exquisite pieces of furniture made from authentic old timber with the most amazing patina and character. This Reclaimed elm long side unit with twin doors is over two metres long with beading detail to the main frame. The top is one large piece of timber also with beading to the lower edge and eight visible mortice and tenon joints. The two hinged doors open to reveal a substantial storage space below the top for storing table-cloths, candles, utensils and more. A delightful piece with a delicious appearance!

This and other similar pieces have been cleaned and restored using aged soft or hard wood and the joints tightened. The result is a unique timeworn piece of character furniture that is both beautiful and sturdy.
