The workhorse of the landscaping, building and gardening world with 100's of uses and the practical solution to so many construction conundrums. These reclaimed grade 'A' authentic railway sleepers are long and strong. Ideal for building raised beds* or slotted between steel beams to form Herculian retaining walls - they're solid, formidable and dependable. Often used for garden steps back-filled with stone or gravel and held in place using angle irons. Set vertically into the ground they can become impressive features, screens and sculptures that will withstand the weather for years to come around the garden and home.

You can collect or we can deliver - but remember these are weighty items! Please ensure the vehicle or trailer you use is suitable to transport them safely.

We generally stock large quantities of these sleepers.

Colour, shape and sizes will vary but as a guide they are often 2.75m long, 23cm-25cm wide and 15cm-19cm thick.

* if used for growing foodstuffs, always install an impermeable membrane between the soil and the sleepers.
