Late 19th or early 20th century Chairs from a Welsh or Marches Chapel with contoured Elm seats and hardwood construction. To the rear is a small trough to accommodate a hymn book and order of service and the two lower stretchers or spindles are to rest a kneeler upon when not in use.
These chairs have been cleaned and, where necessary, the joints have been tightened.
Well made and characterful in a simple pleasant style.
