Original Decorative Cast Iron Floor Heating Grating Set

Set of five authentic vintage cast iron floor heating grates likely from a period chapel or grand house. With a repeating central pattern of entwined and overlapping loops. A diamond and button border runs along all four sides with matching corner detail. This substantial set of high-quality castings appear to be intact and beautifully timeworn with a nicely weathered surface. Cleaned or blasted and enameled these would look stunning set into a fine hardwood floor with inset lighting below. Undamaged sets of these floor gratings are becoming harder to find and make a stunning architectural feature.
