Rare Victorian Wrought Iron Decorative Gateway Lamp Arch

Believed to have originally been a gas lamp gantry for a high quality period home, this rare decorative lamp arch is handmade from wrought iron with a curved tubular iron spine. A high quality piece that is just as ornate as the one at the entrance to No10 Downing Street. The four feet on either end would have been set into the top  of a stone or brick pier and a custom lamp would have hung from the centre (sadly the lamp is missing). One of the spherical cast balls at the top has damage but this could be restored. A stunning architectural piece that would grace any character home, garden or courtyard and serve as a gothic film prop.
