Original Set of Six Dennis Ruabon Large Vented Chimney Pots
Code: W701-1056
Qty Available: 1 set
A fabulous set of six salvaged Dennis Ruabon chimney pots - all from the same house. These large impressive pots have dual ribbed rims, triple bracketed louvres and elegant tapered bodies.
The vented upper section increases airflow and efficiency of these grand architectural pieces whilst preventing excess rainwater from entering the stack.
In the late 19th century large deposits of high quality Etrurian marl clay were discovered in Ruabon in Wales. Henry Dennis established the ‘Red Works’ where ridge tiles, chimney pots and ornamental terracotta were made.
The pot are in good condition with some chips and scuffs commensurate with age, of note is the lack of soot to the inside of the pots. They could be re-used on a large cottage, period property or town house or perhaps re-purposed as decorative planters in a formal garden.
