An Embattled and Much Repaired Rustic Oak Plank Door #26

It's difficult to know which parts of this wonderful old door are original and which are later? Indeed it's hard to know what exactly is holding it together! What we can say is this is a century or two old with an assortment of ledges to the rear. The two oddly spaced iron strap hinges suggest the original may have been only a 3/4 height door. It may have lost the top of its boards and the bottom was then possibly extended to create the 'masterpiece' we see today!
