Elegant Pair of Edwardian Cast Iron Combination Fire Surrounds

A close pair of fine cast iron combination grates from the same Edwardian vicarage in Hereford, featuring a triple ovoid cameo pattern in the freize. The Edwardian style is typically simpler and less ornate than its Vicotian counterparts. One has a pull-out smoke hood and is sadly missing its grate. The other appears to be complete and with a fixed canopy. The mantle design and the overall sizes differ slightly but they make a handsome period pair.
