Salvaged Narrow Pitch-Pine Board Tongue and Groove Flooring

We've a quantity of this dense, beautifully figured pitch pine flooring ready to be transformed into fine floors, wonderful work tops and perfect paneling.

Pitch pine is getting harder to source. Grown in tundra-like regions of the world the growing season is short and the conditions are icy resulting in a tight grain and resinous wood (natures anti-freeze!). This makes the timber dense, moisture resistant and very strong - hence its use in mineshafts in the past. One downside of all this is a very slow growing tree that is not commercially viable in the modern 'grow fast, harvest quick' timber industry and so old pitch pine is now becoming sought-after...

Please note: the photos show the timber both 'as sold' and 'cleaned and sanded'. This is for display purposes only to demonstrate the various finishes that can be attained. The timber purchased will be in an un-cleaned and un-sanded finish
