Enchanting Pair of Mirrored Cast Iron Reclining Lion Statues

A truly enchanting pair of cast iron reclining lions with wonderul features including magnificant manes, impressive paws and muscular detail. One lions body and head face left, has an open mouth and his tail wraps around his body to the right. The other lions body and head face right, he has a closed mouth and his tail wraps to the left. It's these subtle differences, including the different manes and paws, that mean they were cast uniquly and defines them as a high quality combination.

The left facing lion has had repairs to the saide and rear of the base (see photos) and the right facing lion has a couple of small 'patch' repairs to the base and has a crack insode the right paw - though this seems aged?

A truly splendid pair that would would add grace and status to any grand porch, gateway or garden.
