Reclaimed 1950s Cast Iron Wicksteed Horse Head

A substantial cast iron horse head from a renown multi-seater childrens playground ride made by the Wicksteed company. Founded in 1918 an still trading today, this ride was used and loved by children throughout the land. The ride consisted of a long cigar-shaped body, typically with five 'saddles' attached that would rock to-and-fro on two supports. An fine vintage piece that would make a lovely interior ornament or garden feature.
