Salvaged Lion Brand Large Cast Iron Water Pump

An impressive, full height salvaged lion brand large cast iron water pump. A pump this large would likely have graced a village green, stable yard or the courtyard of a fine house. Standing over two metres high with an elegant cranked handle and fluted cylinder, the pump also has a substantial pre-drilled base plate to ensure it stands proud and firm. With a bucket notch on the spout, decorative cap and Lion motif to the shaft - this is a splendid example of a well pump. There is light damage to the rim of the cap, the handles original pivot pin is missing and the pump does not currently function but it will make a superb feature in any garden, courtyard or atrium.
