This superb and substantial salvaged Herefordshire cast iron bench has had new slats in a scale befitting the original cast ends. The style of this beautiful behometh is not dissimilar to that employed throughout the railway network of the period and, of course, Herefordshre was home to the wonderful ‘Golden Valley Railway’! The simple strong channel design of the castings provides maximum strength and durability - and the stainless steel fixing bolts will not tarnish with age or the weather. A robust park bench with a nominal seat height that makes it suitable for all ages and ideal for the cottage garden, pub garden or indeed the platform of a steam railway!
