A fine example of a terracotta tapered cannon mouth chimney pot. A tall slender pot with a single rib / collar around the main body which then flares gently to a chamfered rim. Known as a cannon style due to its resemblance to the muzzle of those fearsome weapons of old. Some aged related chips and scuffs with a little residual mortar around the base. A simple yet elegant chimney pot that could be re-used on a period house - or perhaps used as a planter or feature in a corner of the garden.
