An example of vintage shaped wood and ply stacking chairs. The stylish steam-bent wood frames have raked rear legs. The shaped plywood seat and backrest are in a natural finish, screwed into place and as comfortable as they ever were! The stacking function of these chairs makes them a practical and space saving solution, ideal for the home, shop, pub or restaurant. Some have a steel loop either side of the seat - used to ‘link’ them together. One chair is smaller than the others. There is some marking / discolouration to the wood (the smaller chair has a ‘nibbled’ backrest). An evocative piece of nostalgia, full of vintage charm that has stood the test of time.
Note: Chairs such as these often come from both educational and public venues - please check the suitability of the style and seat height before purchase.
