Vintage Chinese Wood and Metal Strap Rice Measure

A pretty little storage container that was originally a vintage Chinese wood and metal strap rice measure. The wood is softly worn on every surface and has a wonderful patina. The iron bindings, though crude in appearance, have a rustic charm. The bottom is sound and this lovely box would be perfect for small pot plants or succulents, kitchen produce or perhaps for keys or gloves on a hallway table.
