Vintage Elliptical Green Gold Glass Top Laundry Basket

Classic 1940's Lloyd Loom style authentic vintage elliptical green gold glass top laundry basket. With a plate glass oval top secured with four gold clasps - this iconic mid 20th century bathroom laundry basket has a woven body and lid with a ply board base. The top is hinged and held by two decorative brass chains. Still useful as a laundry basket or as a shoe store, newspaper bin or somewhere to hide your favourite tipple! The two tone paint finish, detailed loop handle and woven edge braiding make this a splendid piece indeed. A few marks and blemishes commensurate with age.
