Vintage Hunter Zephair Oscillating Desk Fan

A stylish vintage American oscillating desk fan by the Hunter Fan and Ventilating Company of Memphis Tennessee. Likely dating from around WWII it has a three-speed switch and self rotates by means of a gear and crank mechanism to the rear. The tilt is adjustable manually and there's a carry handle on top of the motor housing.

Most notable about this model and maker is the build quality. The gauge of the wire-mesh covering the fan, the riveted steel blades and many other features all suggest this was built to last - and it has! A classic USA office fan that is sold primarily as a display piece only. Any restoration would need to be carried out by a suitably qualified electrician. The original plug / cable will be cut before sale.
