A fine Copperplate and Brass Water Boiler that would, in its hey-day, have provided lashings of piping hot tea and coffee!

During the 1970s such giant table top kettles were often referred to as "Burco's" named after the company whose affordable alloy boilers provided refreshments at WI meetings, cricket matches, sports days and every other conceivable social event!

This large boiler has a solid brass tap, three raised brass legs, twin carrying handles and what appears to be a float gauge as part of the lid?

A lovely piece of social history that'd look great in a window or interior display for a tea shop or cafe.

It may be possible to refurbish this boiler but such works must only be carried out by a suitably qualified electrician.
