W701 Original Oak Block Coat Rack with Inset Barn Door Hinge Pin

A wonderfully simple asymmetric rustic coat rack made from part of an old oak joist. The original scribed rafter notch is set with a huge vintage barn door hinge-pin and there are two retro-style 'R & M' cast iron hooks.

A humble vernacular hat and coat rack complete with aged scars and traces of ancient woodworm. Fixing is 'through the face' by means of two pre-drilled and countersunk holes.
