In need of a little love and attention but with an intact working treadle mechanism which is unusual - this salvaged oak frame foot treadle operated grinding stone is a lovely old agricultural feature that could gives years of service honing all your blades or maybe just left to grow old gracefully in a corner of a rural plot! The four pull-out lifting handles (see photo) are a nice authentic detail. The bottom of one foot is missing, the stone needs clamping more firmly to the shaft and the plate holding the far end of the shaft needs re-affixing to the frame.
