Who doesn’t love a characterful old watering can - an endearing part of the great British rural idyll. We normally have a selection of vintage and period watering cans in stock. These come in a variety of styles and types. Handles can be on the top or the side, spouts can be short or long and with or without a rose (the sprinkler) at the end. On the whole they are galvanised steel (which helps to stop them rusting) but occasionally they’re painted. Makers names, logos, insignia and markings denoting capacity can also be found on some cans. Many can be used as functioning watering cans whilst others will become planters, doorstops and decorators pieces.
