A lovely reclaimed buff pierced crown chimney pot. Straight shaft with a single beaded collar rising to a six pointed crown - each point with a circular hole for decoration. The makers name; ‘George Skey of Tamworth - Wilnecote Works?? is impressed into the side of the crown. Skey operated from 1860 to 1936 (just before WWII) when it was taken over by Doulton. One of the crown peaks is missing and there is some heavy pitting - overall the pot is in fair condition for its age and could be re-used on a period property or re-purposed as a planter or feature flower pot in the garden.
