How about a little bit of Victorian Rock ‘n’ Roll…a large antique wishbone-handle stone garden roller that has great lawn appeal! The frame is made from wrought iron with a central riser that terminates in a (new) hardwood handle. The stone roller is beautifully aged and softened and has a slight narrowing to one end though not enough to make it track in circles! Ocassionally these were fitted with a brush bar to remove fresh cut grass and leaves from the stone - which may account for the third hole in the lower handle. A great piece of historic lawn maintenance with a simple yet attractive frame. The actual stone roller is 66cm wide and 37cm in diameter.
