An attractive W.E.Co.Ltd. early 20th century cast iron agricultural seat with a distinctive pierced radiating pattern, raised lettering, mounting hole and shallow pommel. The aerated pattern of the seat allowed air to circulate and rain to dissipate. seats were usually mounted on a spring (or sprung) steel arm for (some) comfort and covered with sacking or cloth to help avoid a numb bum!
Best of all, this particular seat has retained it's vintage green paint, now gently dappled with rusting. This will not be the original paint, which would have worn-away with use, but still has some age.
Will appeal to the collector or enthusiast alike and can be displayed, mounted or re-purposed.
