A majestic pair of large old vented crown Doulton chimney pots. This impressive pair or period pots have a tall cylindrical body with a beaded collar to the bottom above a faceted square base. The twin-ribbed crown top is bracketed to provide four vents thus increasing the airflow and efficiency of this grande architectural piece. Each is impressive with a Doulton & Co stamp and the number ‘78’. One of the pots has an old flaw just below the name stamp - else they appear to be in good condition and could be re-used as chimney pots if not as decorative garden planters as shown.
