£210.00
A lovely reclaimed buff pierced crown chimney pot. Straight shaft with a single beaded collar rising to a six pointed crown - each point with a circular hole for decoration. The makers name; ‘George Skey of Tamworth - Wilnecote Works?? is impressed into the side of the crown. Skey operated from 1860 to 1936 (just before WWII) when it was taken over by Doulton. Two of the crown peaks are a little nibbled but overall the pot is in good condition for its age and could be re-used on a period property or re-purposed as a planter or feature flower pot in the garden.
