Unique Art Nouveau Inspired Wrought Iron and Leather Chair

A thoroughly enchanting and unique Art Nouveau inspired wrought iron and leather chair. Consisting of a custom leather cover held under tension over a fabulous curved steel frame. Of all the collective years the team has in salvage and reclaim - this is a first! A truly creative seat made from interwoven steel hoops with a very definite ‘Nouveau' influence in the soft lines and swept organic detailing. The leather or hide seat is set with numerous brass eyelets through which a strong elasticated cord passes and is tied off. Altogether a splendid item of designer furniture that is comfortable and with a subtle spring in the seat due to the design. Please note, the leather seat, though serviceable, is old and may require refurbishing or replacing with use.
