An early 20th century iron agricultural implement seat with a decorative two-tier pierced
pattern and three mounting holes. Some original grey paint and light rusting. Possibly by Bamlett of Thirsk in North Yorkshire founded in 1857 who manufactured mowers, reapers, binders and hay rakes, all larger 'ride-on' agricultural implements.
The distinctive design of seat that is popular with enthusiasts of vintage farm machinery and collectors. These fine pieces are often re-purposed into modern seating and other practical features.
